Brandywine's Poly-Twin drum labels and our Brandywine Prime™ product labels need to work effortlessly over a broad array of printers and application equipment, and meet an array of test criteria, including ink/toner anchorage and durability, and proper adhesive strength.
They also need to meet packaging durability requirements for chemicals, lubricants, cleaning and household products. We test for resistance to water, alcohol, chemical and UV exposure; we also conduct scratch, rub and tape testing. Adhesive testing is conducted on steel, poly and fiber containers.
Brandywine durability testing is based on industry standards adopted from: the American National Standards Institute (ANSI); the American Section of the International Association for Testing Materials (ASTM) International; the European Union’s Classification, Labeling and Packaging Regulation (CLP); US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC); the Department of Transportation (DoT); GHS; HazCom 2012 and other OSHA regulations.
